Western Style BBQ Ribs

The Old Tradition of the West

Preparation

To get a really tender, falling off of the bone rib, start by placing the ribs in a covered roasting pan with about 2 centimetres of water, seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cover and steam in the oven at 180°C for 45 minutes to an hour.

Take the ribs out to the barbie and brown over the charcoals. When smoky and browned, brush generously with Rio Dolores Smoky BBQ Chipotle sauce and let it cook for a few minutes. Turn and repeat, being careful not to let the sauce scorch.
